Due to a sustained period of worldwide growth, Lindy UK are pleased to be recruiting for the position of IT Manager. <br\/><br\/>This is a challenging and rewarding role in a value driven company. You are organized, results oriented and a fantastic communicator. You must be passionate for success &#8211; for yourself, your colleagues and for the Lindy group as a whole. <br\/><br\/>Reporting to the Director of Operations, the IT Manager will be based out of Lindy\u2019s offices in North East England. <br\/><br\/>Your role will be to maintain and develop a modern, secure, fit for purpose IT infrastructure. You will harmonise processes, encourage co-operation and organize the IT team for maximum results. You will work closely with other Lindy Global IT departments to implement and develop the Lindy Group IT strategy.<br\/><br\/>Reporting to our Director of Operations<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-lindy-key-info section section--key-info theme--light section--animation-none\"><div class=\"contained\"><div class=\"grid-2_sm-1-center\"><div class=\"col left_item\"><div class=\"box\"><h3 class=\"section__heading\">ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS<\/h3><div class=\"section__content\"><p class=\"section__content\"><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"col right_item\"><div class=\"box\"><h3 class=\"section__heading\"><\/h3><div class=\"section__content\"><p class=\"section__content\">To apply for this role, you will need:<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Strong knowledge of Sage 200, Office 365, MS SQL, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Operating Systems &amp; server structures including Active Directory<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Excellent knowledge of IT security infrastructure and implementation<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Good knowledge of current IT related legislation<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to quickly learn and understand new advances in computer technologies<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Technical competence and proven troubleshooting skills<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to troubleshoot a multitude of hardware and software problems and to learn\/adapt to new technologies<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to apply new technologies for use within the company<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to use rational and logical thought processes in order to draw up and implement IT and general business solutions<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Strong business acumen<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to work under own initiative<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to work within a team environment<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Integrity<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ability to be assertive when required<br\/><br\/> \u2022  Ability to resolve conflicts<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-lindy-key-info section section--key-info theme--light section--animation-none\"><div class=\"contained\"><div class=\"grid-2_sm-1-center\"><div class=\"col left_item\"><div class=\"box\"><h3 class=\"section__heading\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/h3><div class=\"section__content\"><p class=\"section__content\"><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"col right_item\"><div class=\"box\"><h3 class=\"section__heading\"><\/h3><div class=\"section__content\"><p class=\"section__content\">\u2022 Responsible for developing and maintaining a modern productive IT infrastructure and strategy within Lindy UK and co-ordinate with IT related staff within the Lindy Group to decide upon group wide IT strategies<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Co-ordinate with other departments to ensure Lindy has the resources available to meet IT\u2019s operational IT needs<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ensure data integrity through network security and an appropriate backup system<br\/><br\/> \u2022 Ensure that incidents and requests are handled according to agreed procedures.  Anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
