
AVEM Group, a leading provider of digital and payment solutions for financial institutions in France, needed a reliable, discreet, and high-performance connectivity solution for its new generation of interactive self-service kiosks.
These kiosks allow customers to perform
secure transactions and communicate privately with remote advisors. To achieve this, AVEM partnered with Lindy to implement a robust cabling and signal extension system that combines long-distance data transfer, audio extraction, and directional sound.
Banks today must balance customer independence with personalised service. AVEM’s client, a major French bank, aimed to deploy smart kiosks enabling secure account access, NFC identification, and private video assistance via webcam and directional audio. The challenge lay in ensuring reliable long-distance transmission of USB, HDMI, and audio signals—up to 70m from secure backend systems—while maintaining complete audio privacy and a clean, discreet installation within each branch.

AVEM implemented an integrated connectivity solution using Lindy technology to link the customer-facing terminals with the bank’s secure back-office systems. The design enabled long-distance transmission of video, data, and audio signals with exceptional reliability and no loss of quality. Audio was extracted directly
within the terminal and routed to a directional speaker, ensuring confidential communication between customers and remote advisors.
The result was a streamlined, discreet system that simplified installation, reduced cabling complexity, and delivered a secure, high-performance experience for both users and bank staff.
