The new auditorium and cultural hub at the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi District Headquarters and J.V. Foix Library in Barcelona represents a modern fusion of civic space and community learning. With growing demands for multimedia presentations, public events and flexible room configurations, the project required an audiovisual solution that was robust, scalable and built for long-term performance.
The installation was led by Nunsys Group — a renowned technology consultancy and systems integrator with extensive experience in audiovisual and large-scale digital transformation projects. The team implemented Lindy’s SDVoE (Software Defined Video over Ethernet) solution, supported by a high-performance NETGEAR 10Gbps network switch, delivering the reliability, flexibility and performance the venue required.
As part of an ambitious civic centre redevelopment, the municipality required an audiovisual infrastructure capable of supporting high-resolution multimedia content while remaining flexible enough to adapt to changing room layouts and future expansion without disruptive upgrades. The system also needed to deliver reliable performance across a wide range of events and community activities. Achieving these objectives made selecting the right solution and technology partners a critical factor in the project’s success.

At the heart of the installation lies a high-performance SDVoE-based AV distribution system, designed to manage audio, video, and control signals across the auditorium with ultra-low latency and resolutions of up to 4K.
The infrastructure is supported by a NETGEAR 10Gb managed switch, purpose-built for professional AV environments. This high-capacity network backbone provides the bandwidth, stability and flexibility required to distribute uncompressed 4K video, audio and control signals in real time, ensuring seamless performance during events and presentations.
Using standard 10Gb Ethernet cabling, the system simplifies deployment even in hard-to-reach areas while enabling highly flexible signal routing throughout the venue. The SDVoE architecture also guarantees future-proof scalability and low-latency performance, making it ideal for today’s immersive presentations and interactive event environments.
