It uses natural gas to generate electricity and the resulting waste heat for heating. This combination reduces the environmental impact compared with conventional heating and electricity generation methods.<br\/><br\/><br\/><\/p><a href=\"#inhalt\" class=\"button button--dark\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Back to Top<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section id=\"pv\" class=\"wp-block-lindy-anchor-section section section--anchor\"><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-lindy-image-text-module section section--full-width-image full-width-image--with-text theme--light section--animation-none align--left  font--size-medium width--half\" style=\"background-image:url()\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"full-width-image__image\" src=\"\"\/><div class=\"contained\"><div class=\"full-width-image__content\"><h2 class=\"section__subheading section__subheading__title\">Feed-in<\/h2><p class=\"section__paragraph\"><br\/>The photovoltaic system on the glass roof of our administration building covers just under 22 percent of the roof area and has an installed capacity of 55.3 kWp.<br\/><br\/>In 2025, the photovoltaic system and combined heat and power plant generated approximately 36,945 kWh of electricity together. A large proportion of this was used directly on site, with the remaining electricity fed into the public grid. Insect-friendly flowering plants have been deliberately established there.<br\/><br\/>The natural meadow provides food and habitat for various insect species.
