Responsibility
Our goal is to develop innovative, high-quality and safe products that meet the requirements of our customers and the market. Alongside technology and quality, we also take into account the environmental and consumer protection requirements relevant to our products.
Our compliance processes help us meet the legal requirements and regulations applicable to our products, including those relating to product safety, substance restrictions, electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and packaging.
At the same time, we continuously assess where resources can be reduced in products and packaging and where suitable materials can be replaced with recycled materials. We make corresponding claims about individual products based on the product and material information available in each case.

Supply Chain &
Sourcing
Human rights and environmental protection are also important considerations for us throughout the value chain. We therefore work to create and further develop transparency within our supply chain. Trusted and personal relationships with our manufacturers and cooperation partners are central to this approach.
Our extensive product range of more than 2,000 cable and electronics products is manufactured to our specifications in Taiwan and China. Supply chains for electronic products in particular are complex: the sourcing of raw materials often extends beyond our direct sphere of influence and involves several stages before reaching smelters or metal producers.
Together with our suppliers, and within our respective capabilities and areas of influence, we work to respect human rights and take environmental requirements into account throughout the supply chain. Our supplier requirements and Code of Conduct provide important guidance in this respect.

Environmental
Responsibility
For us, environmental responsibility means using resources consciously and taking environmental considerations into account in areas where we can have a direct influence.
At our company premises and throughout our business processes, we work to use energy and resources efficiently, avoid waste and send materials for recycling wherever possible. For products and packaging, we also assess opportunities to reduce resource use and incorporate recycled materials.
We continue to develop these measures within the framework of applicable legal requirements and our internal environmental objectives and activities.

Engagement
We see social engagement not only as part of our corporate responsibility, but also as a tradition actively upheld by the owning family. It was from this tradition that the Lindy Stiftung gGmbH was established in 2011.
Over the years, the Lindy Foundation has supported a wide variety of projects around the world, making a valuable contribution to society. The Foundation supports a broad range of causes, including assistance for young and elderly people, support for people in need, development aid, culture, education and animal welfare.
