As a sponsor and technology partner of Linz’s Ars Electronica, Lindy not only contributes to advancing digital technology, but also to promoting the necessary social discourse about our future. Lindy is making AV technology and knowledge available to this year’s festival goers in order to realise elaborate 4K audio and video installations by renowned international artists.
This year’s Ars Electronica will be taking place from September 5th to 9th under the motto “Out of the Box – The Midlife Crisis of the Digital Revolution.” It is the most important international festival for media art, digital music, creativity and innovation. At 16 locations, it offers its visitors an almost unimaginable number of interactive multimedia artworks, all of which deal with our digital future.
With their new sponsor Lindy, Ars Electronica invites visitors to conferences, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, artistic performances and concerts. This year the organisers are expecting thousands of visitors from the fields of art, science, R&D, engineering and technology with numerous social activists are also expected.
In the case of the recently redesigned Ars Electronica Centre, Lindy is now contributing a comprehensive AV connectivity infrastructure to the festival to reliably transmit high resolution and crystal-clear 4K content over long distances, from various source device to displays, projectors and video walls.
