Legal information for customers in Ireland

For deliveries to customers in Ireland, Lindy pays the obligatory royalties and recycling fees according to the European WEEE, Batteries and Packaging Waste Directives. Lindy customers and resellers in Ireland are therefore exempt from these obligations. The Lindy WEEE and Batteries Registration number in Ireland is 3302WB.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries.

Lindy has joined the WEEE and batteries collection and recycling scheme, WEEE Ireland. You can return used WEEE and batteries free of charge to any of the authorized collection points listed at https://www.weeeireland.ie/household-recycling/where-can-i-recycle/.
Alternatively, you can return used WEEE and batteries to the following address:
