PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS and information on data protection

Participation Conditions
As part of Lindy Day at Elko, Lindy is hosting a quiz. Anyone over the age of 18 can take part. To enter, you need to scan the QR code, digitally complete the linked Microsoft Forms and answer all the questions. Participation is only possible in conjunction with consent to store your contact details for further contact. Only one entry per person is possible. Employees and their family members are excluded from participation. By participating, you accept the conditions of participation and the data protection regulations of the competition.

The competition is limited in time and the period is defined accordingly in the form. All participants will be entered into a draw to win the Lindy Mini Docking Station for Notebook USB-C (No. 43323 /PVP 131.51 EUR) as first prize and the LH500XW+ Wireless Active Noise Cancelling Headphones (No. 73204 /PVP 113.76€) as second prize. The winners will be selected at random at the end of the event. The winners will receive the prize immediately on site. Should the winners not be available within 2 hours, the prize will be forfeited. In this case, we reserve the right to appoint replacement winners. The prize is not transferable. Payment of the prize in the form of cash or alternatives is not possible. The competition serves to collect customer data for marketing purposes.

As part of the competition, we collect and process the following personal data: Surname, First Name, Company, and Company email address. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of notifying you and transmitting the prize. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (implementation of pre-contractual measures or fulfilment of a contract). In addition, we process your data in order to contact you by e-mail as part of pre-contractual contacts and/or to maintain the business relationship. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (implementation of pre-contractual measures or fulfilment of a contract as well as consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

The data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored in our Microsoft Tennant data centre within the EU. The data remains with Lindy and is not passed on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the use of your data for the purpose of contacting you at any time by sending a short message to InternationalSales@lindy.com. In the context of insolvency proceedings, retention obligations may arise from obligations under commercial and tax law. The retention or documentation periods specified there are generally between two and ten years.
